It’s undeniable that cannabis is trending toward legalization in the United States and many other countries. However, there’s historically been no rapid, portable screening test for cannabis impaired drivers or workers. Gaize is committed to the safe legalization of cannabis though development of the first objective, accurate, and scientifically defensible screening test for impairment.

Poly-Substance Impairment Screening

Studies have shown that alcohol is relatively unique in how it behaves in the body. Other substances cannot be simply measured in the body to determine whether impairment is being experienced. The eyes offer the best solution to discovering active impairment.

Gaize measures micro-movements of the eye, and is based on the existing science of Drug Recognition Expert eye examinations. Tests are performed in an automated fashion, eliminating errors and driving objectivity in evaluations.

Gaize operates at the intersection of cutting edge technology and decades of proven science.

Built with purpose by people with conviction.

Gaize is being created with a singular goal in mind. We see a world where the inevitable legalization of cannabis has been met with a technology that keeps roads and workplaces safe. We strongly believe that our approach is uniquely well suited to the challenges that cannabis impairment presents.

We’re going to succeed because we must.
